Project Overview

For this Miami residence, the homeowners wanted a floor that would feel as expansive as the views outside their windows. Working closely with Carlisle, they chose wide plank White Oak designed to minimize seams and highlight the wood’s natural beauty.

Engineered construction was selected to perform reliably in the humid coastal environment. Boards were specified so that 75% would be eight feet or longer, ensuring fewer breaks in the floor’s visual flow. A custom stain completed the look, enhancing the oak’s grain while maintaining a clean, contemporary palette.

Paired with panoramic windows and sweeping ocean vistas, the handcrafted floors extend a sense of continuity and calm—bringing the serenity of the shoreline into everyday living.
