Expansive glass walls frame shifting light and seasonal color, while a restrained palette of stone, steel, and wood grounds the home in its Pacific Northwest setting. The intent was not to compete with nature, but to live within it—creating a space that feels at once architectural and deeply organic.

To anchor the interiors, the design team selected Carlisle’s White Oak in a custom interpretation of Seventh Heaven, a tone that feels both airy and elemental. The wide 8-inch planks move effortlessly throughout the open plan, connecting kitchen, dining, and living spaces with a sense of continuity and calm. In Heirloom grade, the wood reveals its natural character—subtle variation, gentle movement, and a softness that mirrors the surrounding landscape rather than distracting from it.

A brushed texture and super matte finish further refine the floor’s presence, diffusing light and allowing the material to read as quiet and natural underfoot. Paired with long lengths up to 12 feet and a softened edge, the result is a surface that feels expansive yet understated—designed to support the architecture, not define it.
