Designed by Linda Banks of Banks Design Associates and Simply Home, this Rye Beach kitchen captures the essence of “casual simplicity”—everything you need, nothing you don’t. The homeowners wanted a space that felt open and welcoming, with floors that would ground the modern farmhouse design.

Carlisle crafted prefinished White Oak in wide planks, brushed to enhance the oak’s natural grain and finished with a cerused stain. The blend of sandy heartwood and lighter sapwood creates warmth and depth, while the subtle white accents tie seamlessly into the bright cabinetry and clean architectural lines.

More than a design detail, the floors embody the farmhouse ideal: understated elegance, practical beauty, and a timeless foundation for everyday life. And as an added bonus, this floor is kept consistently warm for bare feet through the use of radiant heat.
