Set high above Los Angeles with sweeping city views, this contemporary residence blends dramatic architecture with refined interior finishes. Expansive glass walls and open-plan living spaces called for a floor that could match the home’s scale while providing warmth and durability.

Carlisle crafted engineered White Oak in wide planks, designed for stability in the Southern California climate. The clean lines and subtle variation of the oak create visual flow across the home’s multiple levels, tying together kitchen, living, and entertaining areas with a unified surface.

Paired with bold architectural forms and panoramic vistas, the handcrafted floors provide balance and calm—bringing natural texture to a residence defined by light, scale, and modern sophistication.
