Molder Operator I

Reports To: Production Manager
Positions Supervised: none
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The Molder Operator I assists with the entry level aspects of manufacturing floors. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, sizing & stacking lumber, movement of materials through manufacturing, feeding machines, and other tasks assigned by the manager. This position is hourly and all hours worked are based on the volume of work available in a given week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Major Duties Include:

  1. Size and stack lumber as necessary
  2. Feed material into molders
  3. Stacking lumber off the end square machine
  4. Uphold product quality throughout the manufacturing process
  5. Performs other related duties as assigned by manager

Other duties include:

  1. Assisting other areas of manufacturing when needed and as assigned
  2. Maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications

A High School Diploma/GED is required.

Other training in the wood products industry
is desirable.
