Early colonists used Eastern White Pine widely for structural timbers, siding and interior wainscoting in addition to flooring surfaces. Eastern White Pine flooring features a smooth grain and beautiful knots, and it has a wide number of finish capabilities making it extremely popular for a range of interior decors.
Wide plank Eastern White Pine flooring is made with floorboards that are typically anywhere from 5″ to 20″ wide and up to 16′ long. The extra width and length make for fewer seams in the floor, creating a less busy look and giving the room a more spacious feel. Wide plank Eastern White Pine flooring also allows the grain patterns in the wood and the personality of the Pine to be more fully revealed on each plank.
