Home Furnishing Designers

Every room has its own needs when it comes to home furnishings, accessing mobile apps that give you products for nearly every room in the house can save you alot of time.   Here are some great apps that do just that.

LIllian August Fine Furniture provides an mobile app where you can browse furniture for every room.  From beautiful couches and tables, to decorative wall art and dressers.  You can gather product specifications, zoom in to see photo details, locate dealers, and create your own portfolio of products.

The Arhaus Furnishings app is for those who want to be inspired by captivating photos and luxurious interiors.  And you can find specific product information for everything on the mobile app right at the Arhaus website.

The Furniture Collection by Smellink Classics mobile app puts beautiful hand-crafted European furniture at your fingertips allowing you to browse products for every room in the house.

Spacial Planning

There are a few mobile apps available for spacial planning, they all seem to have a relatively simliar interface and experience and most require you to set up an account prior to using the software.  But if you are interested in spacial planning it may be worth it.  Popular Interior Designers Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams have come up with their own spacial planning app that allows you to create a room from the web based room planner, insert furniture and then share it with your family, friends or interior designer.

Guidance

Are you doing alot of interior design work yourself?  Are you looking for some inspiration for how to design to your lifestyle.  This little book might just be what you have been looking for.  The What Would you do with this Room? mobile app is actually a book written by designer Mark Lewison featuring his coined “trickorating techniques”, educating you about design styles, how to make your room pop, be prepared when shopping for furniture and more.

Have you found mobile apps for selecting your home furnishings?  Who are your favorite furniture designers? Have you found their app yet?
